I think there is a problem here - Network Rail are not confirming to MML
what access there will be to Longsight around then, and which routes are
really open. (I think there is a note in RBI this week that Virgin were told
of a recent blockade at Stockport just three days in advance).
I think someone at MML told me they couldnt input all the trains into the
system until NR declares its hand... which may be just days before.
If the route is closed the trains will run from Piccadilly missing
Stockport, which is why you can see the trains from Piccadilly.
